Meet Kuma! Kuma
is an 8 year old, Australian-registered St. Bernard. He
weighs about 160 pounds. If you are looking for a low energy
dog then Kuma is your guy. He likes to spend a good part of
the day sleeping! The one thing he likes even better than
sleeping is belly rubs! He will drop to the ground if he
thinks you might rub his belly! Kuma is house trained, he
knows basic obedience commands, and he walks nicely on a
leash. He has been neutered and micro-chipped and his
vaccinations are current. He does take thyroid medicine
daily, but the meds aren’t very expensive. Kuma likes cats
and kids, but he doesn’t get along very well with some dogs.
In fact, he would probably do best in a home where he is the
only dog. If you are an experienced dog owner and would like
to make this affectionate giant a member of your family,
please call 808-497-8537 or email
dlovest1@me.com.

This cute, scruffy terrier is named
Emma! Emma is a 4 year old Airedale
Terrier mix, possibly an Airedale/hound mix. She weighs
about 50 pounds, has been spayed and micro-chipped, and her
vaccinations are current. Emma has boundless energy and
loves to play. She likes to go on walks—especially, when she
is free to sniff and explore. In the house, Emma is calm and
likes to cuddle with her favorite humans. Like many
Airedales, she can be a little hard-headed, but she does
know several obedience commands. She’s food motivated so
those treats are a good way to get her attention! Emma has a
high prey drive so should probably be in a home with no
small animals. She is generally good with large dogs. If you
are an experienced dog owner who has worked with
strong-willed breeds and would like to make this fun-loving
dog a member of your family, please complete an
online adoption application and ask to meet her!
